Multi-awarded Brazilian singer and song-writer she launched her solo career 15 years ago. From alternative rock, bossa nova, MPB and pop, Takai shows her artistic versatility in a prodigious and unique way delighting audiences live or through millions of plays on digital platforms. She also has a great appreciation for collaborative projects working with Brazilian and international artists and more recently with the renowned Brazilian Ouro Preto Orchestra in a captivating performance. As a solo artist and as the vocalist of the Minas Gerais band ‘Pato Fu’ for 30 years, Takai has been collecting prestigious awards such as Latin Grammy, 5 Gold Records, MTV Brazil among others. She has performed in Japan, England, Portugal, New Zealand, Australia, Argentina, Colombia and the United States.
